After escorting the Utenguard refugees to Middenheim the party was asked by the towns dying priest to deliver a icon of Sigmar to the Sigmar temple in Middenheim, they do this and soon retire to the nearest inn for food drink and rest. While having a good time the city watch ask them to come see the watch captain to report the numbers and whereabouts of the beastman they fled from, upon speaking with him they are soon under investigation for the murder of father morton who they sold the icon to, they quickly prove there innocence and are asked to investigate the murder and soon find 3 other murders have taken place over the last few days and all signs point to it been the dreaded ratmen the Skaven, they find clues that lead into a nearby sewer system and are soon traversing the network of filth, soon after they are set upon by a pack of beastman and after a hard fight defeat them.
