As part of this year, Challenge CORE series the GMD VIP Members requested a series of games from their favourite settings.
The latest of these is Lord of the Rings. So following on from a Middle Earth adventure I ran for them a few years back the party returned as members of the Company of Culthain a band of rangers who hunt the enemy across the North Western Middle Earth.
This is a Campaign Playtest series with the following cast:

Who longs to be reunited with her lover Nina another member of the company who set off with Culthain ahead of the group.

Related to Culthain the head of the company.

Wilderness Survivalist and Falconer

foul-tempered loner, the lost bastard son of Lord Mirendel.
Ronin
Scrapper (Actor: Eusi)
Race: Dwarf
Dual axe-wielding warrior.
Brief Background:
Who lost his family to Morg the Dwarf Killer.
Tinuviel
Scrapper (Actor: Waracolyte)
Race: Elf
Skilled Herbalist, and warrior.
Brief Background:
Good friends of Lofar who also is a tracker for the company, but has travelled ahead of the party with Culthaines band.

A mighty great axe-wielding warrior.

Fighting off the Warg Riders and chasing Varg away, the company tend to their wounds.
Karell is eager to return as is most of the company of Culthain. Gathering their belongings, they climb back into the boats and continue downriver to the Tirthon.
Rowing through the early hours of the morning, they arrive on the banks of the woods on the outskirts of the Tirthon by mid-afternoon. A stillness hangs in the air, staying alert for danger as the company race to the Tirthon.
They are met at the gates by Wiglaf, who escorts them with haste to the Tower. Making their way up the winding hill path, they pass the defenders tending to wounds and repairing weapons and armour. One call towards Range, ‘Lord Merendil you return!’ But they are mistaken, Ranger is not Merendil, a look of despair passes over the warriors.
Entering the battle-damaged tower, they seek an audience with Commander Amrodan who is pleased with their return. Discussing at length the nature of the Star of Algaline they are disturbed by the call of horns and drums outside on the hill once more… The enemy has regrouped and returned…
